Suite #5 is a detached, single-level two-bedroom home on a quiet one-acre property a short drive west of downtown Wasilla. Both bedrooms have a queen bed, so two couples traveling together get identical rooms and nobody negotiates. It sleeps four comfortably.

At around 775 square feet it is smaller than our three-bedroom homes and priced accordingly — the sensible choice when you do not need a third bedroom and would rather put the difference toward a glacier tour.
Two bedrooms, one bathroom, all on the ground floor. The kitchen is fully equipped rather than a kitchenette, which is what makes a week here work.

Guests share the on-site sauna, outdoor fire pit, picnic area and garden seating. After a day on the trails at Hatcher Pass, the sauna is what people remember.
The two bedrooms sit at opposite ends of the living space rather than side by side, which is the small architectural detail that makes sharing with another couple comfortable instead of awkward. Both have room-darkening shades, which matter more than visitors expect in a place where June daylight runs past midnight.

Check-in is from 4:00 PM and checkout is by 11:00 AM. Minimum age for check-in is 21.
Everything is remote and self-service, so you are never waiting on a key handover after a long flight. We answer messages and texts throughout your stay, and check-in details come through a unique guest link on our website.
